Growing up in a home where fashion was a social statement, it was probably the one thing I learned, after being taught the Lords prayer. I became more in tune with fashion, as I began to travel and follow some of the latest celebrities, as they took the red carpet in the hottest designers attires. Shopping was my outlet when things in my immediate surroundings were at times, organized chaos; ultimately leading to fashion becoming my passion.
After suffering one of the greatest losses in my life, I decided to carry out the dream I had so often shared with my grandfather Jesse. He would always say 'baby girl do what you love and be the best at it." To some, I was his granddaughter, to him I was "his girl," Nisha. Here I am today executing a plan that would not only make me happy but I am sure, has the biggest smile on his face, as he looks down on my venture.
Considering fashion has taken me from dark places to light, increased my esteem when I felt I no longer had any and made me strong at my weakest point; I have decided to share it with the world and give it to other women who may find themselves in the shadows of my past.
